1. The service

Old or Gold? is a free game: you guess whether an everyday object is worth money, then see what sellers are currently asking for similar items on eBay. By using the site you accept these terms.

2. Not an appraisal

Everything on this site is general information. The prices shown are asking prices of eBay listings at the moment of your request, for a type of object, not for your object. They are not sold prices, not an offer to buy, and not an appraisal. The real value of an item depends on its exact maker, model, condition, authenticity and demand. Before you sell, buy, insure or throw away anything that might be valuable, get the opinion of a certified appraiser or a specialist dealer.

3. Affiliate links

Links marked "See on eBay" are affiliate links of the eBay Partner Network. If you buy something on eBay after clicking one, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra and does not change which listings we show. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by eBay. eBay is a trademark of eBay Inc.

4. Third-party content

Listing titles, prices and photos come from the eBay API and belong to their sellers. We do not sell any item, we do not check listings, and we are not a party to any transaction. Purchases, payments, shipping, returns and disputes are handled by eBay and the seller under eBay's own terms.

5. No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damage, loss of profit or loss of value arising from your use of the site, from a decision to sell, keep, buy or discard an item, or from a transaction with a third party. Nothing in these terms limits a right or a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including rights granted to consumers under Quebec law.

7. Use of the site

Do not copy or republish the site, scrape it in bulk, overload it, or bypass its technical protections. The site's text, design and the name Old or Gold? belong to the operator. The fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License.

8. Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or end the site and update these terms at any time. The current version is always on this page with its effective date.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute is submitted to the courts of the Province of Quebec, subject to the rights the law grants to consumers.
